Foundation of Ai-Assisted Development
Course: CST2003
This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforms the modern software enterprise, AI must be integrated responsibly into software development. Students practice prompt engineering, context management, and the use of structured, machine-readable specifications to guide AI tools and agentic systems. Focus is on ethics, security, and human-in-the-loop accountability while students practice providing precise project context, generating structured representation outputs, and using AI-assisted tools to automate routine technical tasks. Through hands on labs, students apply AI to debugging, documentation support, lightweight test scaffolding, and simple agentic workflows, developing the judgment needed to integrate AI into their future career.
