Health and Safety Program Management

Course: OHS4010

The setup and administration of a workplace health and safety program requires specific knowledge and skills. Students learn to develop program standards and objectives, employee orientation and training programs, record-keeping and perform data analysis. Purchasing and engineering controls, health and safety promotion, program evaluation, occupational health services, applications of management theory and techniques to OHS and special problems and solutions are also discussed.
