Course: MAS0013
Customs and traditions, dress, deportment and rifle safety are cornerstones to creating a safe and secure environment, fostering trust, and ensuring the well-being of individuals within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Students explore customs and traditions, regulations and policies, and how they relate to the Code of Service Discipline (CDS). Students then familiarize themselves with the CAF uniform, service rifle, individual drill, platoon drill and how to fire a service rifle. Through demonstrations, research, guided practice and practical situations, students develop an understanding of dress, drill and rifle safety within the CAF.
