Attracting and selecting high-performing employees is essential to achieving organizational strategy and maintaining a competitive edge. Human resources professionals must understand how talent acquisition processes drive business success while ensuring fairness, legal compliance, and alignment with organizational values. Students explore recruitment and selection theories, strategies and the full talent acquisition cycle. Students build recruitment plans, simulate selection processes and critique real-world hiring scenarios. Emphasis is placed on using evidence-based approaches to design equitable, and goal-aligned hiring processes. Through projects and case studies, students develop skills for strategic recruitment and selection planning.
